What is a vortex? A vortex is a place where energy goes in and/or out of a
system. Examples are earth vortexes, chakras & acupuncture points in our bodies, and
galaxies and black holes in the Universe. Scientific experiments have shown that vortex
energy moves in a spiraling way (vertere, Latin for spiraling). Earth Vortexes are found
in many places around the planet. Sedona has many, and a very large variety of types. When
in proximity to these places, you may be affected to varying degrees; some people feel
more relaxed and meditative in some spots, or more energized in others.
Over the course of an
exciting full day SEDONA VORTEX TOUR,
you will visit all of the four major vortex areas in Sedona:

Mark will be honored to accompany you
to some or all of Sedona's "power spots" for ceremonies and meditations. He
uses traditional North and South American indigenous rituals, as well as chants and
mantras from other spiritual traditions, and energetic healing practices to help you
connect with the spiritual energies that
pervade these vortex areas. In each location he will also share the esoteric and
geological history of the surrounding Red Rock landscape. And......depending on the length
of the tour you choose, you may also have free time for private meditation time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Many people have visited Sedona's vortex areas over the years, and quite a few of them have written about them. You will find various books in the local bookstores, as well as flyers, maps, etc., with many different opinions about the nature of the energy at each vortex. We have our experiences as well. We suggest that you remember that there is no "right" way to feel about any one power spot. The descriptions below are based on our personal experiences. Yours will be unique to you, and may or may not match ours, or that of anyone else. You will receive the gifts from the energies of that particular area that are best for you. Trust your own intuition! Your own feelings! And.......above all, enjoy! The Sedona energy is powerful and surely has a "special gift" just for you!

Your Full Day SEDONA
VORTEX TOUR begins in the morning at the electric/male vortex of Bell Rock,
perhaps one of Sedona's best known sentinels of spiritual consciousness. Here you have an
opportunity to connect with and enjoy the energies. Mark will offer a ceremony to assist
you to release any blocages so that you can prepare yourself for your powerful day.

Your next stop
is the electric/male vortex of Cathedral Rock, where Mark will take
you to an out-of-the-way sacred Medicine Wheel for a ceremony and meditation to connect
with the powerful energies of this area.

You then proceed to
magnetic/female Airport Vortex, which creates a huge triangular grid of energy with
Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. Time for excellent photo opportunities to capture the
panoramic scene before you, as well as a time for meditation to bask in the energies
streaming into the area. You might want to climb to the top of the hill, or simply sit on
one of the lower balconies. Whatever you do, keep an open mind and heart and receive!
Lunch Break/Rest. There are many options in Sedona to choose from. Mark will be available
to give you suggestions and/or accompany you for lunch.
Your last vortex experience
for the day will be at Boynton Canyon, the electro-magnetic
(male/female) vortex, the one that many people, including Mark, consider to be
Sedona's heart chakra and the most powerful of the four. From the parking lot, you hike to
Lady Kachina Rock, where Mark will offer a special ritual and meditation designed to help
you open your heart chakra more fully.
