Andrea Mikana Pinkham is the Director of the Sacred Journeys division of
Body
Mind Spirit Journeys a division of RMC Travel, an
innovative tour operator with over 45 years experience in the travel industry. Andrea has
over 14 years of experience in the sacred and wellness travel field. Her journeys began in
1993 when she and her husband,
author Mark Amaru Pinkham, founded the company after a trip to Peru to complete the
research for his first book, The Return of the Serpents of
Wisdom.
Andrea is familiar with the operations of sacred and wellness travel programs on all
levels. She directs the day to day and tour-related operations. Also, she conducts
advance trips to countries where Body Mind Spirit Journeys offers tours, to meet with land
operators, guides, hotel and restaurant owners, as well as local artisans, musicians and
spiritual leaders. She creates, prices, advertises and promotes these travel programs.
Andrea is the Tour Conductor and Speaker on tours to some of the
world’s most important sacred sites.

Life Experience:
Andrea has also worked in the holistic healing & personal growth field for many years.
In 1988 she began her journey with Reiki, a hands-on natural healing system. In 1991 she became a Reiki Master Teacher
in this healing modality and founded a system that synthesized older and newer systems.
Since then she has taught in the U. S. and South America.
Andrea has also been a Spiritual Counselor since 1987, working with individuals and
groups to assist people in their re-empowerment of Spirit and to further open to
Unconditional Love and planetary peace.
For several years, Andrea and her husband Mark directed a Wellness Center and owned
a spirit-centered bookstore, where they both offered their healing practices and
offered weekly introductory lectures, as well as workshops and classes.
Andrea has been a presenter at The Whole Life Expo, and has appeared on various radio
and television programs.
Andrea is a member of two Andean esoteric societies, the Brotherhood of the Solar
Disc and the Brotherhood of the Sun. Since 1993 she has studied in Peru with various
Andean ritual specialists in the Inca Spiritual Tradition and is a Mesa Carrier.
She also studied for many years in the
indigenous Ojibway Medicine Tradition with Medicine Woman Keewaydinoquay from
Garden Island, Lake Michigan. Andrea is a member of the Fellowship of Isis, and a
student of Mata Amritanandamayi, the Divine Mother from India.
